Thanks everyone. I've since tried the Roman Matrona bust from Pegaso and run into a few issues. It's very different than painting Tywin. He has texture on his face and it doesn't matter if a few areas are a little rougher than others since he's older. But the Matrona looks like a young woman with flawless skin. And I don't paint much by airbrush. I've shelved her for the moment. However, now that we have a space for our airbrush set up permanently, I may break her back out and get the general shading and highlighting done on her.
I had a lot of fun working on Tywin. I am very proud of him. I am not sure why I didn't pick up a bust sooner in my 11 years of painting. My favorite part of painting miniatures is the face.
