This is my try to paint the amazing bust of Vasili Zaitsev, by Alexandros models.
It is painted in oils over acrylics. The face is very demanding since it has to look at the same time freezed because of the russian winter but hot in the heat of the battle, tired because of the lack of sleep but determined to find and kill the enemy, dusty and dirty because of the fight but beautyful too as the cinema actor.
