A dark & gothic interpretation of a storic figure. Dark tones, but with a limited use of black. Various studies on acrylic on oil ... and again acrylic (a strange technique, but effective!) and especially on the colors, resulting in light and shadow through the use of color, chromatic & temperature contrast.

All this to give life to a person who was more cruel in reality than in fantasy.
