150 hours.. 15 layers of resin for the pond, 5 fish at 3 layers per fish. Many hours for the cherry blossom tree. What a fun piece to do and so many new things tried for the first time. Feedback and comments are always welcome!!

    Love the base and the freehand. I think the face, even though painted white, just needs a little more in the way of some shading just to help define features a bit better. I need to give this resin painting technique a try.

      Thanks for the feedback Meg. I flip flopped many times about the face and the shadows. I just decided in the end to leave it be subtle. Not sure why when I looked at pics of geishas that there wasn't much contrast. Maybe the make-up? The resin was very time consuming but fun and very rewarding.
