Golden Demon Duel for 2011 : won a cheeky Gold

Experimented with using tea for the base ... found that the best one to use was from Harrods. We had some given to us in a hamper by a client at work. I stole some ... so I guess that makes me a 'tea leaf' (cockney rhyming slang for thief ... for those who don't know).

Love all of it very much, including the contraband tea. You know, we Americans stole some tea from the British a few years ago : ) As I said, a great dio. However, the wound could use a bit of modification, IMO. I feel like some of the flaps on the wound should have retained the skin tone of the lizard beast. That way it looks more like flesh parting. Also, some normal PVA glue and GW's Blood for Blood God or the Tamiya equivalent could be used to great effect. Still, is a Gold for GD and from me here.

Thanks, Ben. I'm still getting to grips with doing blood. It's supposed to be one big splash of blood, but I agree, I should be using something a bit more transparent. I had the same problem with Fatal Extraction. What i need to do is to find some time to experiment rather than leaving myself backed into a corner in the last couple of weeks before GD! Old habits die hard.
