This was one of those miniatures that when I first saw it ( I think here on P&P) I just had to have it. To me it was such an amazing and original sculpt. The king was so very stoic yet so very sad.

I took inspiration form the studio painted model but wanted to add a little of my style. I also wanted to try and incorporate a little basing to the scene. Normally I would just place the bust on a simple plinth but this guy kept telling me he wanted a scene.
