Recently joined in on a black and white challenge. Definitely something that was out of my comfort zone as I do love using colour.
It was a good exercise. Tried focusing on still making it visually interesting as greys generally aren’t :)
Really nice. Black and White often only works with focus and readability. You did great on the first. Focus is clearly on the face. I believe readability could be a bit better in terms of different material surface value planning. Often you got too similar values too close to eachother and they blend together and get lost. Not on the face and hair, but on the lower rest. Still, a really nice work! I am running such a challenge too at the moment on my Patreon, including such an article about readability.
