    Nicely done. Just a minor point (and not for you, definitely): at that time pipes were mainly made of clay, at least for peasants etc. Briar pipes, as the one our chap has been happily smoking, showed up at the end of XIX century in France. We, pipe smokers, are getting rare goods, I know…
