“After countless years of searching, he found his late grandfather's sword”

This project started as a small quick painting but as always it turned into something bigger.
I wanted to create a story behind this classic piece from @raulatorre. An interesting composition with the shields and test some ideas with the lightning.
Some of the proccess is recorded for a future tutorial.
