This was all about textures and depth. The coat got multiple layers of brushwork, finished with a bath of pigments to bring out that worn, weathered look. The scarf was built up with glazes to keep the fabric feel natural. The skin? Eight different colors layered in, with four more just for the eyes to create some real volume. The goal was to capture his presence—worn but sharp, a survivor in his own right. Had a great time pushing the details on this one.
