Cobalt is one of the most widely used materials in technology and electronics, particularly in mobile phone batteries.
The current demand for smartphones has risen significantly, with companies releasing new models every year, while consumers discard old yet functional phones simply to acquire the latest version.
The minerals necessary for manufacturing these devices are extracted in some countries under unsafe or exploitative conditions, including child labor and coercion of local populations.
As long as we continue producing at this pace, extraction will persist—and even increase—at the cost of human lives. How much longer can this continue?

Very evocative work, nicely done. Excellent job on the Argentina jersey. The fact that he's wearing the jersey of a millionaire increases the impact of this piece. Keep up the good work!
