The violet piece ;).
Recently I've been made aware that I was using violet or magenta quite a lot in my pieces, and I've decided to lean into this for this piece and try having fun with a kind of monochromatic piece, in those tones I love.
I'm a big fan of elves since childhood and I was very happy when Black crow miniatures released their elven heroes collection.

Overall, I took the opportunity to enjoy working on having a beter definition on the different materials while keeping a very tight palette. I've also tried to experiment with cast shadows and keeping some interest in the darker side of the miniature, it was fun to try.

It's those kind of figures where I would be able to spend a lot more time on, but after Monte, I wanted to have a very "me" piece. I felt it was time to let this piece go and get to some really exciting projects in the next few weeks :).

Or
