Don't know what it is with me and melancholic space apes but apparently I have a little thing for them. This piece started out with a quick head sculpt to test out my new tablet but then I couldn't stop myself from making it a complete bust.
Since science fiction an all the precise modelling it requires is way out of my comfort zone, this took a while and I ended up reworking all the parts two or three times. But I learnt a ton from it.

I will make a first Test print of this bust in 1/12 Scale next week and I am really looking forward to the results
