Here’s my latest work for BDWS Studios on this awesome 3D print, Message from Beyond. I had such a great time with this piece, playing around with light and color to create a, for me, different look. I went for a mix of lighting temperatures—a cool green glow from one side and a soft, warm yellow from the other—to bring out different moods depending on the angle.

I also tried out some more textured, loose brushstrokes on the wings to give them a bit of a gritty, detailed background without taking away from the main focus on the characters. Working with a more muted palette was a fun challenge and helped me create a cohesive look that tells the story without overpowering it. I learned a lot through this process, and I hope you enjoy the result as much as I enjoyed painting it!
