I am attempting the use the underpainting technique taught to me by Craftworld studio but on something other than a bust.
I think a lot of refinement is needed for the next time i try this, much more glazing and time needs to be taken on smoothing everything out, but again its a gaming mini not a bust.
I am unsure if the underpainting truly provides a different result in the end.
