Inspired by the painter Lawrence Alma-Tadema and the ruins of Pompeii, here's my rendition of a luxurious roman house and a young lady enjoying leisure time in her garden. A quiet summer afternoon in the year 79 AD. Only we know this will be Pompeii's last summer....
A labor of love, this project, with a figure sculpt, scratch-building and lots of freehand painting.
