This is my first try at painting a backdrop on a miniature. I personally don't like too much the backdrops with just spray of colors or blurred images just to create an ambience. So i went more into the naturalistic way to see what would happen and how I would fare. It was a good learning experience for sure and very fun to do too.

I also wanted to avoid the effect of "not painted" on the back of the model, so i left some space between the backdrop and Obitus to allow the viewers who holds the model in person to enjoy all the views even with a backdrop. And for this reason the atmosphere in the front and in the back is different on purpose.
