I got this piece from Stella Argentis at the Kontrast festival and I reall liked their small busts for how nice it is to experiment.
Lately I've tried to think quite a bit on how to play with the focus of my pieces with something else than the value of the colours I use.
Here, in a fairly cold scheme, I've decided to have a bit more smoothness and warmth in the face so as to draw the attention to it. The eyes being a similar colour as the armour helps tie the piece together.
