The monster drags the wounded Dr. Neiman from the castle, chased by the enraged villagers. He runs to the darkened swamp as the peasants set the trees and bushes ablaze. "No, not that way!" groans Neiman, "Quicksand! Quicksand!" Alas, it is too late and they slip into the muck, disappearing forever...

Yagher Classics Number two: "Quicksand!" Sculpted by Jeff Yagher and beautifully cast by Paul Gill. Painted in Scalecolor acrylics and inks. I tried to capture the moonlight and the blaze behind them. This one was quick because the casting was so clean. The OSL lighting was done after the basic paint job with the airbrush, then reinforced or reduced with brushwork. Thanks to Jeff and Paul for another great kit!
