Ideated, sculpted, painted in about two weeks from imagination, a part for the converted scarab.
I paint miniatures since I was young and I kinda got bored with some aspect of miniatures painting, as we are used to see in Competitions and Internet / Socials (to many details, "technical masturbations", stiffness of the paintjobs).
I tried to let the flow go and improvised without knowing what I was doing and without having an idea of the final result.
Half of the mushroom was painted in the car during the voyage to the past Monte San Savino.

The result may not be perfect but I had great fun.
