This is a bust of a giant sculpted by the talented Jonatan Monerris. My friend Josh Berman (Quarterpaint) and I took one of our semi-annual retreats to my family’s cabin and painted the same model over three days. I really enjoyed the volumes and grumpy expression of the face and the opportunity to paint some different surfaces.
