The sculpt by Pedro Fernandez is already creepy enough, but you managed to add another layer! I am unsettled by the tilted pin to the plinth :D
Nevertheless, I really love what you did with the atmosphere. You really are stretching the green to its limits and how it can feel lovely, or in this case decaying and dark and mysterious. Amazing haunting piece.
Thank you! I am too, about the pin of the plinth. I had the feeling she moved when I put her back in the cabinet over night ;) ... glad you like this nightmare. Many thanks!
I love what you've done with this, Roman - it's especially interesting that the eyes and the glowing cross compete for attention but without either one being dominant. I'm not sure I've seen a bust pull that off quite so clearly before.
Wow, great work! Your use of color is really inspiring. Also, I gotta say you have a very recognizable style. I can always tell it's one of yours. There's lots of great painters, but only a handful have an instantly recognizable style.
Thank you very much for such kind words, Eamon. I really appreciate your time and your nice compliment. Leaves me speechless and means a lot to me! Arigato!
This is terrifying in a wonderful way! I love the colors you used especially in the shadows. If this would've been the reveal of the witch in the actual movie I would have cried.
She is wild, right. I understand what you mean with the "crying". She has a certain sadness and vulnaberality in the sculpt that I hoped for to transport in the paintjob! Thank you, Lando!
It's crazy how horrific and sad could a bust be! Really nice brushstrokes. The character you developed fits really well. The neckless gives her some magical background. Beautiful paintjob
She is so cool! Textures, colors, the atmosphere as whole - are perfect! She looks like real witch without magic beauty, with roten soul etc. Gold, of course!
Uh. I really have troubles summarizing my feelings when thinking about this bust. I find it deeply disturbing, which is, of course, testament to your mastery of evoking emotions through your brushstrokes, choice of color and eye for overall athmosphere and minute detail. As always, it's the skintones that make this "work" for me so well, that melange of sickly, desaturated greens contrasted by the deep, gory reds.
Thanks for sharing this, brother. I am glad to have seen this bust by yours and taken in all the details, but I will be lucky man if I never have to look at it again - so, well done realizing these strong emotions!
Thanks so much, David. I am always grateful of your long and well-thought comments. I am sorry, that she is so disturbing, but actually this was the plan :D

Ouchy, I am sorry. Yes, this sculpt can do that. I am happy that my paintjob pays justice to it.Filgja
In the disgusting and disturbing way, it’s a success! The skin is really disgusting and it looks like real monster eyes.Roman LappatPLUS
Many thanks. She is truely evil and I am happy that I do not have to stare at her anymore while painting as she stares back ...Štěpán Tichý
