Dogs of War, Vietnam 1967
Hello Everybody,
this is my 1:35 scale diorama from the cedar falls 1967 in Vietnam. The diorama won the bronze medal at the ScaleModelChallenge in Veldhoven in the master class.

The figures are hand-painted. The M48 from Dragon has been upgraded with numerous attachments. The diorama is a unique piece and embellished with elegant walnut veneer and skirting boards.

Outstanding action and composition. This dio flows very well along with great figure and rig work, and the ground work is very well done, convincing. Gold!

Lots of lovely bits and pieces to look at. Totally impressed with the expelled bullet casings. I am going to steal that idea when I get the chance!

This is such a strong diorama and I am happy to see you finish it. I like the full dynamism, posing, action and how everything connects. All the details that you can observe when you look closer and closer on the vegetation, the setup, the tank, the soldiers. Really amazing. The compostion gives the feeling they are fighting an invisible enemy which tells that story just perfectly. I think this diorama can only be presented better with better photos. Gold. Keep on happy painting!
