After sitting in my vitrine in semi build stage for 35 years I got the motivation and I finally finished. I decided to make a captured one rushed into German Service. The kit is Tamiya 1/35 35049 and was first released was 1976! I hope that you like it. Probably this one is from 98th Infantry Division as they used a lot of captured T-34 and rushed into German Service. The frontal cross is not centered as probably they did not want to give to the enemy anti tank the best spot to hit. See a similar photo. The experience German crews forced to use big identity German Crosses to avoid friendly hits but in most cases they placed them on the tank surface with the strongest armor thickness or to not so vital parts of the tank.
Really nice tank kit and well painted.I could imagine a bit more stronger weathering like in the photo. It seems some scratches and material damage on the edges looks much stronger in color. Nonetheless a really nice tank and I have no idea about tank painting at all. Apologies if I did get something wrong! Keep on happy painting!
