This is lovely, Moses. Again, color choices of the figures and backdrop work really well together. The light on all volumes, including the OSL is awesome. A breathtaking work and one that can be studied from every painter on this side to learn from. Thank you! What I do not like is that the rock/stone of the figure is just glued to the base without gaps filled. This shows that it is a kit glued to a wooden or 3D printed plinth. I believe on your quality level this is not necessary and would give my impression of the piece a 100% Gold! Now it is just 99,8 % Gold and Editor's choice! Keep on happy painting!
Great works on this Mindwork's miniature, gold
I've painted this one too, and I agree wtih you, that it was a good learning process to mixing colors and puting slight points of light to manage to describe the average ambiance.
I like the idea to put the orange source light on the back of the rock.
May I ask you to take a look at mine to have a feedback ? it's in my gallery
Damn. This is another stellar paintjob. I love how it connects the abstract background with the figures and focuses it with the lighter tones and colours. Even though I keep looking at the very moody and dark piece I see a lot of light and I think it shows how well it is painted. Inspiring and great interpretation of the piece by Jones.
