Very atmospheric piece. I like how everything is so harmonic. The only thing I miss a bit is an even stronger colder ambience due some colder shadows here and there and maybe even some parts of blueish tinted snow. Snow turns blueish in the shadows of a cold day, even when the sun is up. Check back with some reference photos. The warm violett shadow does not match with the base in my eyes. Still, technicly it is a lovely piece. Reminds of the old Rackham days from color choices and painting! Lovely! Keep on happy painting!
Thank you for the detailed feedback Roman, much appreciated. It was my first experience with snow materials and i totally agree they lack something as they are, since it's basically snow products without any added paint. As for the blueish, do you think it could still work with green hues? I ask because my idea here was to create a cold feel without using blue. All the lights and midtones on the shirt and the purple backpack are made with a soft green, so hence my question. Also what will you replace the purple with? Thank you again!
