The conqueror of the deep
sculpted & painted
by
DragonsLand
The decorations in this scene were created using using one of their https://www.greenstuffworld.com/en/459-basing-setsenvironment sets, the GSW Sci-Fi silicone mold and https://www.greenstuffworld.com/en/225-acrylic-resinacrylic resin powder. The acrylic resin is mixed with water and allows you to get these pieces in 30 minutes. The pieces were then mounted and glued on a cork base with other elements to set the scene. I used a wooden Straight Backdrop Plinths that allowed me to glue the pieces in height creating the lower part where I could create the lava or magma effect. The lava river was modeled using flaming https://www.greenstuffworld.com/en/317-textured-paintstextured paints in gel, which I then went over with intensity inks to increase its contrast. The figure is a quick painting with dipping inks. In this piece I wanted to do mainly OSL lighting tests and I think the result is quite good. I hope you like it .
