I'm still new to airbrushing and inks, so when I mixed a white ink with blue paint for the moonlight on one side the ink did not spray smoothly. I learned a lot of lessons from this mini, and aside of all of the technical lessons, the main lesson I learned is that I much prefer painting models that fall into the whimsical category -- like Ganbon-san.

I am proud of all the models I've painted, this one is no exception, but my favourite is still that fishy chef drooling over a shrimp skewer!

My favourite part of this particular model are the leather hip straps on the side of the burning village.
