Yo, this project was an attempt to create a more-vertical-than-usual base for a miniature. I've been dreaming about making a scene with a ruined archway for a while, and when I got this miniature I immediately imagined the composition. I hope you like it!
Awesome work! I think the basing is great and really well done! The figure itself is very unique as the figure stands out, but interacts well with the environment. The only slight thing for me is, that the painting on the tiles on the ground breaks the visual interest, however, it might be just my imagination.
Thank you a lot for the feedback! I feel pretty much the same about the tiles - while I wanted them to resemble old enamel, I also feel that blue colour looks out of place.
