First Grimdark/"Blanchitsu" style 40K miniature I've done in awhile. Stumbled on this free STL and immediately wanted to paint it. I'm not a huge fan of vanilla Space Marines but I've always loved the Emperor's Champion sculpts and lore. <br />

Since I'm still learning the Grimdark style, this was mostly a testbed for different techniques and to see if I could knock out miniature in 24 hours. Even though I use oils and enamels on vehicles, using them on a figure model is slightly different. This is painted mostly in Tamiya and Vallejo acrylics, with weathering and effects done using oils and a few AK enamel weathering products. <br />

Printed on an Elegoo Mars 3 with Sunlu resin.
