I completed this Goblin King last year for Monte San Savino show '22. I really enjoyed painting this bust from Ourobouros. It was my first real attempt to complete a display piece after a very long time.

When deciding on the colour scheme I picked purple as skin tone, simply because I enjoy the colour. At the same time, I knew I wanted to challenge myself and make a dramatic lighting scene. I imagined him standing in a cave next to an opening with warm light shining in, while orange OSL coming from inside the cave.

I am happy still with how it turned out, and very happy to be awarded a bronze medal in master fantasy painting for it. Special thanks to Albert Moreto Font for his guidance!
