We must hunt the Germans! LRDG Crew 1942.
I can say that the vignette is finished! Here you can see the result of the painting with Glazes over the black & White preshading using an airbrush. The Glaze Medium 73.596 is necessary also in summer as it delays the drying time. This is just three layers (including the highlights and shadows). The colours used are mostly from Vallejo Model Color series and are:
Shirts & tunic: Green Ochre 914
Shorts: Desert Yellow 977
Belt and canvas: Khaki Grey 880
Gaiters: Green Brown 879
Sandals & Boots: Panzer Aces Leather Belt 312, Flat Brown 984
Head Cover: Panzer Aces Splinter Camouflage Base 345, Ivory 918
For the Highlights of Uniform I added Buff 976 and for extra highlights Ivory 918.
Flesh as usual the Panzer Aces triades: Flesh Base 341, Highlight Flesh 342 and Shadows Flesh 343.
Beard: Flat Brown 984
Finally we passed a layer of dry pigment of Vallejo Dark Yellow Ochre 73103 and fixed on using matt effect thinner!
