The moment I saw yawa from neko galaxy minis a whole scene appeared in my head and I wasn’t sure if I had the skills necessary to do the sculpt justice. I decided to give it a shot. The intention was to convey a small slice of a neo-tokyo/ cyberpunk city street.
I’m so happy with the outcome of the piece. It was a joy and so much fun to paint this amazing model and bring this scene in my head to life.

    DUDE! This piece is incredible. It's insanely detailed, from the gum on the pavement, to the noodle, newspaper, graffiti, and the osl on the terminal. Nothing is really grey, everything is suffused with the streetlight.Yawa herself is exquisite, and framed perfectly in the scene.I am lucky enough to have seen it in person at Thunderbrush and it is without a doubt the best painted thing I have ever seen. It is perfect cyberpunk, and I am in neon love.
