Here's my take on 'Forest Encounter' sculpted by Patrik Hurtig for Nordlys Miniatures based on artwork by the Swedish artist John Bauer. A truly beautiful piece. I tried to pay homage to the original piece of art while also staying true to my own style of painting.

This was painted in one weekend as a part of the first ever "Dogma48 Finland", our small version of the long-running event in Copenhagen.
