Hello! So I tried my first ever 2D painting and backdrop. I purposefully tried to achieve something that hinted to his environment rather than something that was obvious, it also helps to push the painting into the background. I painted him in muted and earthy tones to achieve a sense of strength and foreboding, I hope I pulled it off.
This is a gift for my friend David Powell, who is currently in the UK and I’ve now officially run out of time, there are some elements therefore that I could spend no more time on.
