A really beautiful historical figure. Besides the historical correctness - that I can not judge - I love how you presented different materials on nthe figure. Especially the boots and the clothes. The paintjob on the miniature is a clear gold from me in terms of historical painting. The base looks natural, but a little too simple compared how much love you can invest in a paintjob. I like the different heights of grass that you use, but for me it is too clear to see which product you use. My tip:
Glueing your grass to the ground with superglue will avoid that it get moved from the ground with the next step: When the glue is dry use some water on top of the grass, let a dark wash flow into it and you can see observe it going to the ground. It will tint the grass darker to the lower parts and connects the grass more with the base. When this is dry a soft drybrush to the tips can make it more natural and also a part of your light situation on the full scene. His skin seems almost too clean and without skin variaton. A strong silver from my side!
