General Kato Kiyomasa (1562-1611)
painted
by
Dan Pollart
My first project for 2014,starting last summer cleaning the metal parts and undercoat the pieces with a black primer, after everything was primed I've updated different parts with green stuff...,the inside of the figure had to be painted first before placing it in each other and all the separate parts i put together with two components, for the smaler parts i used again some green stuff and component glue,A small minus was the attachment of the lance, a weak point that i have to oversculpted using green stuff to create a little flag or cloth so that this is a bit more attached.Everything is painted in acrylics and the ground work is a mixture of modeling sand, small stones, wood glue etc.., for the snow effect i used powder mixed with a little water and resin for hardening..,
Hope you like it and happy paintwork,
Danny.
