I modeled this as a water goddess. There is moss on the skull and the scythe hand wrap is based on seaweed, giving the impression that she lives underwater. The scythe is based on Tidus's sword from the FF10 cover, it has a gloss finish to give the impression that it just came out of the water. Unfortunately it doesn't really show in the photos.
