My first intention was to put her in an urban setting, but after seeing several other paintjobs (arguably better than mine) putting Kyra in a dark corner of a street, I finally decided to choose a more traditional forest vibe.
For the composition of the piece, I tried to create a movement from the left to the right (the rocks, her cloak, the branches of the tree ...). It also was my first plinth.
