This diorama is a portrayal of a wonderful clients DnD character and bear companion. The scene depicts the pairs pilgrimage back to the dwarves ancestral home of Thimbrin in the Earthfast Mountains. A once thriving Dwarven Stronghold now desolate and abandoned having been destroyed by a Orc hoard.

A huge amount of fun to design and build and the fact that it's a person's roleplaying character made it even more special. We chatted loads about his character, what he wore and looked like, the area in game and the atmosphere of the scene.

The biggest challenges where incorporating the vibrant, warm reds and oranges of the 2 characters with the cold blues of the mountains pass and the resin pour (always a challenge)

I'm really happy with how it's come out though and like the shattered ice effect particularly.

I hope you like it as well.

Cheers
