Even though I would have loved to depict a much more dramatic, graphic rendition of this story, I decided these would be too far of a deviation on how the vendor usually portrays their work, so kept it a little more simple but still had fun. It was ultimately very rewarding to try and create the visual epitome of this scene, something that can be perpetually referenced by other fans when thinking of this tale. Its littered with details for a GW fan to examine and remember; as well as appealing to a casual viewer. I would attribute its success in the vendors event primarily on that.
Anyway, I hope you like it with these considerations. There's a run down on the specifics within my Instagram post on the entry if you're interested in the read. Its to long for P&P : )

Beautiful job dude, I love seeing all the little details and Easter eggs within the diorama. It does make me wonder what you would have produced had you not built and painted it more in line with GW’s competition expectations….version 2 maybe ;pChris "D.Vader" SuhrePLUS
