The vision I had for this circa 20 year old Savage Orc Shaman stems from the artwork by Mark Gibbons in the Orcs and Goblins Warhammer Armies Supplement from 1993 which depicts the same Shaman dancing by his magic fire after throwing some bones and presumably summoning some force of magic in the form of the Gaze of Mork or the Fist of Gork.

The idea was to convert the original miniature sculpted by Alan Perry to match the artwork as close as possible.

To do this, many saw cuts were made, detaching the right hand and staff as well as left leg and right foot. These limbs were then re-positioned and pinned to more accurately represent the Shaman's stance. A new nose, lower canines, tongue, right leg, left foot sole, magic staff, shrunken head and cloak were all sculpted from scratch using Greenstuff.

The bones, skull fire pit, flames, and leather pouch were all sculpted from scratch with either FIMO Professional polymer clay or Greenstuff.
