Here is my latest bust, my first from Spira Mirabilis and his talented sculptor Lucas Pina. Fell in love with this sculpt on opening the box. So much charachter, hope I did it justice. Tried to picture an immature Arthur playing with a wooden sword (felt that it was too tiny to represent the real excalibur) and Archimedes and Merlin looking quite dubitative about his behavior. Merlin's hand pointing at the books saying "there is much to study!"
Tried to go out of my confort zone with zenithal lighting and trying something with a light coming from the upper left, felt like it would draw the attention on the faces more.
Painted with Kimera Kolors and S75 artists.
Thanks for watching, hope you'll like it!
