Recently finished a shelf queen I had started abut 2 years ago: Castle Miniatures 54mm Private US Army, 1863. They cast a sash on the figure, pretty sure only non-commissioned and commissioned officers wore those. Was easier to promote the private to a sergeant, rather than modify the casting. Replaced the musket barrel with brass tubing and added a canteen made from 2-part resin. Extended the figure base to fit a square wood base. Painted with Jo Sonja acrylics.
