Everybody needs some rest. Especially after playtime!

The project was created as a birthday gift to someone who really likes cats.

The kitten is part of the Animals Set 15 from Mantis Miniatures in 1/35th scale. The floor is made of balsa wood strips and the rest from Milliput epoxy putty.
Everything was painted Vallejo acrylics.

The initial idea was to show the cat sleeping in the warm light of the afternoon sun coming from a window in a rather dark room. The result does not convey exactly this story I believe and the pictures do not do it justice. However, I’m happy with it and I might give it one more try after studying a bit more colour theory.
