I painted this mini quite a while ago. It caused a really strange stir back when I posted it on Coolminiornot- the busy freehand really appealed to the meta over there- which got the thing rated higher than I think it deserved- which seemed to offend a number of the people commenting on it.<br />

There are a lot of things I'd do differently now- especially I would do a lot more work with the shadows on the lower half of those armor plates and probably add in more damage and the like. I didn't really want to make people angry with this piece.
