I started printing out these little Kodamas to put in my fiance's plants, and just had to make myself a little diorama. Princess Mononoke is easily my favorite movie of all time, and I wanted to have a little piece of it on my shelf. The Kodama and mask were printed from some files I found on MyMiniFactory, the wood was stolen from my uncles flower bed, and the ground cover is a combination of coconut husks and various Woodland Scenics products.

This scene is intended to take place after the movie when the forest is starting to comb back to life. While this isn't a very technical paint job, I had a ton of fun and am pretty happy with the result.
