The diorama is inspired by a picture I found online depicting two men and a boy walking on a beach and each carrying on their head a chair by UMS Pastoe, a Dutch furniture company.

The figure is heavily converted and it is from Noch in HO scale. The armchair is scratch built and made out of thin cardboard.
Both are painted with Vallejo acrylics, as the sand. The water is made with multiple layers of acrylic gloss medium and it's coloured with oil paints.

It was the first time I tried to replicate water. Although I am not completely happy with the reuslt, it was really fun and good practise for future projects.

Beautiful and original work!!! The water is really nicely done, a painted shade on the beach would probably add even more realism to the scene.
