Here’s my take on this enjoyable bust from Lukáš Žaba. I feel like this one represents my current personal goals as a painter pretty well, but I also enjoyed the support of some great friends as I brought this one into being. Best kind of project.

You’ve been steady crushing it man. Beautiful work on this one, wonderful brooding atmosphere, cloak pattern turned out great and the armor reflection is really nice. As always I think your skin tones have turned out absolutely tops. Easy Gold from me bud.
A piece full of strengths! Initially your eyes are pulled right into his eye line and that work in the face, but as you move around the piece you discover tons of nuanced texture and details. It feels really balanced and dramatic as the same time.
