This guy is very special to me as he is the first of my miniatures that has been featured in a printed publication (White Dwarf).

He is the spiritual leader of my Fyreslayer Lodge - the Hrukvorn - and goes by the name Ruadhar the Red. His hair doesn't have so much red in it now, however. I decided to paint his crest and beard a coal black with a bit of smoulder reds and yellows on the inside to reflect that fact that his "fires" have begun to cool somewhat with age.

He's such an incredible sculpt. I really love how GW have used elements of Ancient Spartans with the Fyreslayer range and fused them with the iconic slayers of old.
